Sekarang Dual Boot Patcher secara Official telah mendukung Xiaomi Redmi 4A.

Apa itu Dual Boot? Dual Boot adalah sebuah perangkat yang mempunya dua buah sistem, yang dapat diganti dari sistem yang satu dan ke yang lainnya. Di komputer bisa juga menggunaka dual boot.

Bagaimana cara agar Redmi 4A bisa menggunakan Dual Boot, berikut caranya :

1. Download aplikasi DualBootPatcher-snapshoot.apk 
2. Install di Redmi 4A
3. Download Recovery ROM untuk Redmi 4A, contoh seperti AOKP, LineageOS, Mokee dan lain-lain.
4. Buka aplikasi Dual Boot Patcher
5. Lakukan set kernel untuk pertama kali.
6. Setelah selesai, buka menu Primary ROM dan pilih Update ramdisk lalu Reboot.
7. Buka menu Patch ZIP File
8. Pilih + lalu Add flashable zip dan pilih ROM
9. Di Patcher options, Device : rolex - Xiaomi Redmi 4A
10. Partition configuration : Secondary
11. Pilih Continue dan pilih dimana ROM akan disimpan
12. ROM akan masuk dalam proses Queued, pilih tanda cek bagian atas untuk patch
13. Setelah selesai, ROM akan jadi dua. ROM yang dipakai berakhiran _dual.zip.
14. Kembali ke ROMs
15. Pilih tombol In-app flashing dibagian bawah
16. Pilih Add pacthed file dan pilih ROM dual
17. Pilih KEEP LOCATION
18. Pilih lagi tanda cek dibagian atas untuk memflash ROM
19. Jika sudah Completed, akan muncul tulisan berwarna HIJAU
20. Silahkan reboot untuk boot ke ROM kedua (Secondary ROM)

Di Secondary ROM
1. Install kembali aplikasi Dual Boot Patcher.apk
2. Buka Settings
3. Dan pilih Install Boot UI
4. Buka menu ROMs
5. Pilih menu Secondary ROM
6. Pilih Update ramdisk

Nah, dengan Boot UI. Kita bisa switch ROM atau berganti ROM dengan sekali klik saja. Caranya:
1. Buka ROMs
2. Pilih ROM yang akan digunakan
3. Telan hingga muncul tanda cek
4. Reboot
