Hello my friends
Today I want to show you how I managed to get an emulated USB working on PCSX2.
Of course, this doesn't really matter to others but to some it does.
Ok without further ado, let's go to the point.
1. First you need this plugin https://github.com/jackun/USBqemu-wheel
2. On the right you'll see Releases, click it to download page
3. Once the release has opened, click on Assets
4. Now choose whether it is 32 bit or 64 bit
5. The extract USBqemu-wheel-0.10.1-Win32.dll to PCSX2 plugins folder
We will create a flash drive image. Inside the Dist folder there is an image file (.img.bz2) that we can use. You can use that but I prefer to make my own. Here's how I make it.
6. Download ImDisk Virtual Disk Driver on this page http://www.ltr-data.se/opencode.html/
7. Follow the instructions to install
8. This application can be accessed through the Control Panel
9. In Control Panel, change View by to Large or Small icons
10. And open this app
11. Click File - Mount new virtual disk...
12. On Image files access, select "Create virtual disk in virtual memory"
13. In the Virtual disk size, enter the desired size. You can also check Removable media, so Windows will recognize it as a normal Flash drive
14. After all is done, click OK to create an image
15. Click on Virtual memory and format to FAT32 which is supported by PS2. You can also format it via Windows Explorer
16. After the format is complete, press the Save image button. Choose where the image file will be saved and OK
17. The next step is to run PCSX2 and go to Configuration - Plugin Selection
18. In the USB option, select Qemu USB Drive (Wheel) as a plugin and press the Configure button
19. On Device type Port 1, select Mass storage device and Device API Port 1, select cstdio then Configure
20. Click the Browse button and select the image file that was created earlier
21. And Finally, this Image file can be used
